Shawn
Tompkins - Head Instructor
Shawn Tompkins has been involved in the sport since age
6, giving him 24 years of experience and knowledge. Shawn
has also competed in every style of combat art imaginable.
He has also trained fighters for all styles of martial arts
competition. At this time Shawn has trained 10 national
and international champions. He has spent a life time creating
a system of fighting and combining it with the system of
his mentor Bas Rutten (UFC 20 Champion) putting together
one of the worlds most successful training programs. Shawn
is also a Fitness Professional.
Mark
Hominick
Mr. Hominick has trained in martial arts for over 6 years
and brings to the table both training and competition experience.
Mark started training in submission fighting and has combined
this experience with the Tompkins Muay Thai system to become
one of today's most successful and popular fighting sensations.
Mr. Hominick holds three Kickboxing and Muay Thai championships
and a 7-time TKO Mixed Martial Arts Canadian Super Lightweight
Champion. We call Mark Hominick 'the Machine' and if it
is a cardio trainer that you are looking for then Hominick's
classes are the ones for you.
Sam
Stout
Sam 'Hands of Stone' Stout is one of Team Tompkins top instructors,
working hand in hand with head instructor Shawn Tompkins
on a day to day basis. Sam is one of K-1's fastest rising
Max stars (155lbs) in Japan and is also the #1 MMA Lightweight
in the TKO organization. He has taught Muay Thai, Mixed
Martial Arts and Fitness Kickboxing at Team Tompkins for
3 years now and is also a fulltime Personal Trainer at the
Team Tompkins Gym. Sam Stout is known for his precise striking
ability and his gift of being able to pass it on.
